Sapphire Windows

COE Optics can afford to you excellent UV & IR grade sapphire windows with low scattering and birefringence. Those sapphire windows are an ideal material for applications where high pressure, vacuum, or corrosive atmospheres because of their extreme surface hardness, high thermal conductivity, high dielectric constant and resistance to common chemical acids and alkalis.

COE Optics' sapphire windows are optical grade, free of any visible defects as bubbles, blocks, twins, etc. COE Optics' sapphire is synthetic corundum and grown by the Kyropoulos method. We can supply you Vernuil, HEM and EFG sapphire windows by your request, too.

One of our sapphire windows' outstanding performances is "transmission". Our lab testing demonstrates that COE Optics' sapphire windows can reach T >70%@190nm and T>85@ mid-IR (4.3UM).
