Sapphire Optics

COE Optics' sapphire optics is optical grade, free of any visible defects as bubbles, blocks, twins, etc. COE Optics' sapphire optics are synthetic corundum and grown by the Kyropoulos method. We can supply you Vernuil, HEM and EFG sapphire optics by your request, too.

COE Optics has the most advantages in engaging in that sapphire optics, as we can grow, cut, lap, polish, and coat sapphire optics. All of these steps are finished in the house.

COE Optics can supply mass production sapphire optics, but also prototype sapphire optics for your R&D testing.

Sapphire optics is used in a variety of applications requiring high durability or broad spectral ranges, including semiconductor, FTIR spectroscopy, or FLIR imaging. Sapphire, which is the hardest material next to diamond?sapphire Moh's hardness is 9, while diamond is 10?, features a variety of attributes that are ideal for use in harsh environments, including extreme surface hardness, high thermal conductivity, high dielectric constant, as well as strong resistance to a variety of chemical acids or alkalis. Compared to many standard optical materials, Sapphire Optics offers thinner designs, along with transmission ranges from 190nm – 5.5μm for optimum performance in the ultraviolet to the MWIR.

COE Optics offers a variety of Sapphire optics for a range of applications, including ball lenses, spherical lenses, windows, prisms, rods and tips. Please make any inquiries to COE Optics for sapphire optics!
